Got a reasonable and great breakfast included. The room I booked was completely renovated including furnishings and available with storage space, coffee maker and well-stocked bathroom. Location: the hotel was close to the bars, restaurants and boats, the waterfront and downtown, restaurants, grocery store, and gas. There was cafe Cafe This Way, that I found within 10 minutes' walk of the venue.

This place was just a good match for exploring town in Bar Harbor with good value. They had endless free coffee and tea available, great after long days of hiking. Try to grab a room facing the porch for a peaceful moment in the morning.

I shoudlve been greeted with complimentary breakfast, not having it was an absolute disaster. The windows were sealed shut, forcing me to scream for fresh air all night while the neighbors blasted their noisy air conditions! Almost wrote a good review, but the worst treatment woudl ve been too tragic to ignore!

Clean facilities with attractive landscaping out front, highlighted by vibrant flowers that you can enjoy while sitting on the porch. The outdoor seating area is a nice bonus, perfect for some morning tranquility.

Windows are sealed shut due to a mosquito net, which makes ventilation a bit tricky. Had to leave the door open for fresh air and faced some noise from neighboring air conditioning units. Considering the price point, the absence of breakfast feels like a letdown, especially since it seems to be a common issue for this area.

The place gives off a serene vibe. We enjoyed two chairs right outside our door, ideal for sipping morning coffee while soaking in the fresh air.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the overall experience made it well worth the cost.

The Island Place Motel offers a great value with clean and updated rooms. The location is superb, just a 10-15 minute walk from downtown Bar Harbor and only a short drive to Acadia National Park. The outdoor common room features a coffee maker and fridge. Staff were cute and had helpful recommendations for local dining options.

I stayed for 2 nights in the Beautiful Queen Room, and it was supersuper clean and cozy. The common room with coffee and a refrigerator was a nice bonus-really convenient! Plus, being just a short walk from town made exploring easy. The only downside was that the windows were sealed shut, so ventilation was tricky.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located, just a short walk from the local attractions. The beautiful queen room wasnice and neat, and the outdoor patio is a wonderful perk. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.
